On the Meatfly website, search returned zero results for completely ordinary queries. Fixing it with Raventic lifted revenue - verified by a controlled A/B test on 151,000 customers.

More than 9%

revenue vs. the original

Almost 5%

higher conversion rate

40%+ of revenue now flows through Raventic's features during the customer journey – resulting in additional revenue.

Meatfly is a prominent Czech streetwear and action sports brand founded in 1995 in the Czech Republic. Originally built around board sports, it has grown into one of the largest Czech lifestyle apparel brands, bridging the gap between functional extreme-sports gear and everyday urban clothing.

[01] THE CHALLENGE

Three places where sales were slipping away.

Meatfly sells products rich in context – colors, materials, cuts, seasonal collections. But product discovery stalled in three places along the customer journey.

01 · SEARCH

Failing even on common queries

“black men's swimwear” → 0 results. “checkered shirt” → 0 results. “work backpack” → only 12 items. Roughly 17% of searches ended with no result at all – that's how many customers with an open wallet walked away.

02 · SIMILAR PRODUCTS

Matched manually – and only in some places

Alternatives on the product page were assigned by hand. That meant extra work, and a large share of products had no similar items at all – a dead end whenever the product happened to be out of stock.

03 · CROSS-SELL

Missing from the cart entirely

The cart offered no complementary products. Every order therefore ended without a chance at a higher basket value.

[02] BEFORE AND AFTER

Same query. Different results.

Real queries from the Meatfly website. Original search on the left, Raventic on the right – with no manual synonym setup.

Current State

Meatfly search for „cerne boty“ returning three shoe products

Raventic

Raventic AI search showing a wider range of relevant black shoes

“cerne boty” (“black shoes”) – the original search returned 3 results. Raventic found the full range of shoes and immediately suggested the correct form of the query with diacritics.

Current State

Meatfly search for "karovana kosile" returning zero results

Raventic

“karovana kosile” (“checkered shirt”) – the original search returned 0 results. Raventic returned dozens of relevant shirts.

[03] THE SOLUTION

Three tools. One system.

Three Raventic features at three points of the customer journey – deployed on the existing site, with no redesign or replatforming.

01

SEARCH BAR

Smart search

Understands the meaning of a query – copes with typos, missing diacritics and everyday phrasing, with no manual synonym setup. Searches images as well.

02

PRODUCT PAGE

Similar products

Offers real alternatives based on visuals and context, so even a customer on the wrong product finds the right one.

03

CART

Cross-sell

Complementary products based on shopping patterns, semantics and customer preferences. Winning back lost sales is almost free: you already have the products in stock – customers just didn't find them.

[04] RESULTS

+9.56%

more revenue than the original site

+4.8%

higher conversion rate

43% of revenue now flows through search, similar products and cross-sell during the customer journey – and that is exactly what translated into +9.56% additional revenue compared to the control group with the original site. All from an A/B test under otherwise identical conditions, confirmed with 97.2% Bayesian confidence. These aren't clicks – they're revenue.

[05] DEPLOYMENT

Almost no work on your side.

[06] TESTIMONIALS

“Search was returning zero results for common queries, and sales were slipping away every day. Raventic got it up and running – customers finally find what they're looking for, and the A/B test confirmed it directly in revenue.”
